my cam belt broke in my Mondeo?
I have a Ford Mondeo 1.8TD Endura with CAMBELT past I wondered if I would have done any damage I had the rocker cover off and no sign of damage
All this makes this engine is an interference engine? I suspect not, but you can not tell by removing the valve cover. Contact your local dealer and ask if your engine is or not an interference engine. An interference engine is doubled if the brake valves tape and then head should come out to repair the damages. Most of the time they just put a belt again and I hope the engine survived. You have to buy a new belt way, so the only thing that is loose time to find out. Sometimes you get lucky.
