Regulator Heat Sink
Is this a good idea to set up the voltage regulators heat sinks on the motherboard?
I have lots of small square well soo hot, is there a place that could put them in my motherboard as voltage regulators or any other place or is it just a waste of time? Thank you for any help:)
Honestly, I would not try it myself. If the shaft voltage regulator heat have been a good idea, then each MB now. If you want cool the voltage regulators, you might get a CPU fan as an Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro (AMD) or Pro 7 rev. 2 (for the Intel 775) that have fins pointing down to regulators direct air, or Cooler Master Geminii S (universal) that can support up two fans, one for cooling the CPU, and one to blow air into the components nearby. You can try to mount the sink in the bridges North / South. However, if you have a good quality of the motherboard and you have a good cooling system for the NB / SB. The other thing I can think which could be used for heat sinks to cool the memory chips of the GPU. Depends on the size of the heatsinks you have, but might work. 8 pieces copper cooling VGA memory kits sell for about $ 12, but you may be able to do your job. Regarding this note ... If not broke do not fix it.
