What would be a good multi-purpose versatile for Nikon D80?
I intend to get the Nikon D80. Should I have with only the body or for the purpose of the kit? The kit is something objective? I am using the urban lights and portraits at night. That would be an appropriate and economic (ER) Lens for?
I am of a mind like a fhotoace. A 18-200mm or similar will moderate wide angle to medium telephoto. This will provide a wide range capacity - the landscapes and architecture on one side, the portrait in the medium range and ensure a reasonable return for wildlife telephoto. From what you indicate that you want to do, you might consider something like the 18-135mm or even 18-85mm. It always gives you good options for portraits and architecture as well as moderate telephoto performance.
