Do you prefer a digital multimeter or analog?
Both. See similar time-varying changes that are not in a digital, such as noise in the circuit. It is true that not as precise, but beware of digital counters. display numbers are cheaper dozen, and often (for usually) do not match the precision of real instruments. But what do you do with a count to three digits which has only a precision of 2%? And the assertion that digital meters do not require calibration is wrong. Just not a parameter user and can not be done at all. Yes, I prefer digital camera in general, but we must be aware of their limitations.
