Motorola KRZR K1 (Cingular) problems w / outside screen and rings?
I had my phone for a few months. At first, he has regularly found the external screen * white *. I'm not saying the backlight is off. I say when the phone is open or closed, if you activate the external screen, nothing appears that is not a solid, backlight blue with any character. When this happens, if I received a call or text, the ring is not active. Turn off the phone then again the problem would be solved. It rarely happens to me anymore, but I'm still seeing the issue from time to time on my phone. But I a friend who just got the same phone on the same network. Does it do the same on a more regular basis, as I used to experience. Has anyone seen this?
Sounds like a problem with the sensor cap. Litle is a chip in the bottom of the plate responds to a small magnet on the top cap. When you close the phone chip responds to the magnet on and off the screen and said that when the phone receives a call with the speaker ring. If it is spoiled and the phone do not think it's open all the time. If this is your problem you can not really do anything but send it back and hope your still under warranty.
