Soridis introduces SUPRA, their new Alarm Supervision Software featuring Perle I/O Device Servers

SUPRA, Soridis’ new cutting-edge Alarm Supervision Software, allows railways to supervise all alerts on a rail network and monitor stations at both a local and regional level. SUPRA provides a complete graphic view of the network’s state and quicker troubleshooting through the setting of customised automatic alerts.

Every year, the French National Rail Infrastructure authority (RFF) invests more than € 2.5 billion in the national rail network, with further major investments by the National Railway Company (SNCF) and Paris’ own transportation services (RATP). In such a rapidly evolving market, the adaptability to new cutting-edge technologies is essential for all industry players, which are already re-designing the future of rail travel.

Perle’s Ethernet I/O Device Servers enable comprehensive access and control of remote digital I/O, analog I/O, pulse I/O, relays and temperature sensors as well as connections of remote serial equipment on any IP network. The IOLAN DS I/O Device Server has the ability to monitor environmental alarms, intrusion detection, relay contact closures and equipment failure. Through remote operator or application control, opening and closing of integrated relay contacts or activation of digital output signals can be incorporated into any response of a critical event.

Bridge Loans: A Link Between Your Crisis And Solution!!

Most of us, on more than one occasion have dreamt of having that perfect house - the one to build memories in; or maybe the perfect property for personal use or commercial requirement. What if you happen to see the perfect home and want it to be yours immediately? But then what happens to the home that you are currently living in? Sell it and buy the new house with the money that comes in? So everything is set and you decide to go in for it. Now, what happens if the two transactions i.e. the purchase of your new property and the sale of the other do not occur simultaneously? ... Solution - Bridging Loans.

Bridging loans, just as the name suggests, is a loan taken to bridge the gap between your resources and your need. A bridging loan provides you with the finance required for a new property (personal or commercial) prior to your existing property having been sold. One cannot rely on the cash obtained from the sale of the existing property to pay up for the new one you have your eyes on. Bridging Loans or Bridging Finance gives you the finance to serve your immediate need. You can rely on them when for some reason the sale of your existing property is delayed or you are unable to apply for a mortgage. Bridging loans are short term financing options used to fill in any cash shortfall between property transactions. This includes buying property, business or even paying for renovation.

Bridging loans are short term loans. Their term can extend from a week to up to 6 months and nowadays, even up to 2 years. Bridging loans can be arranged for any sum between £25000 to a few million pounds. Most bridging loan lenders do not ask for upfront legal and arrangement fees. This is simply because Bridging Loans are secured loans, secured on property (collateral). Therefore, Bridging Loans require evaluation of collateral. Bridging loans are offered on the value of the collateral. Lenders typically consent to Bridging Loans of up to 65% of the worth of the properties In addition, Bridging Loans carry with them a high rate of interest. The interest rate is generally dependent on credit history, value of collateral placed and loan term. All this gives lenders a certain amount of security.

Advantages of Bridging Loans:
• Speedy finance is the main advantage of Bridging Loans. Most Bridging Loans can be made available within 24 hours if all the necessary documents are ready.
• Bridging Loans are short term loans and hence can be paid off quicker than assumed.
• Bridging Loans are easily available for those of you with bad credit too.
• Most Bridging Loan lenders do not ask for upfront legal and arrangement fees. Usually there are no redemption penalties with bridging loans.

Disadvantages of Bridging Loans:
• Until a customer sells his existing property he has to bear the brunt of interest.
• While bridging loans are convenient the interest rates are exorbitant.
• When repaying a Bridging Loan, an individual will also be paying for the mortgage on his existing property.
• Bridging loans are secured loans, secured on property. Therefore, a borrower would be required to put up significant collateral.

During the loan term, the borrower is required to pay only the interest i.e. Bridging Loans are "interest-only" loans. The borrower continues with this repayment plan until the property the loan is being used for is sold. When the sale finally does occur, the proceeds of that sale are used to repay the principal. In the off chance that the property is not sold before the Bridging Loan matures, it can usually be converted to a conventional loan without a payment penalty. If the house is sold within the term limit, all the unearned interest is credited back to the borrower.

Before setting your mind to taking a Bridging Loan, a borrower must be certain of his situation and that he can repay the loan within a short period of time. Always remember - never settle for the first quote you receive. Shopping around gets you better deals. The loan amount will vary from lender to lender. Getting pre approved would give you an idea of how much you can get. Being pre approved, enables you to act quickly when the property is available. Although Bridging Loans are very speedy, higher amounts can take longer for approval. Along with demand, the market for bridging loans is also constantly increasing. This has made Bridging Loans a realistic option for those who need the quick buck!

How To Complement Wooden Gates With Its Surrounding

As with any type of product wooden gates are more suitable for certain types of scenarios than others. That is not to say that there are a lot of scenarios that wooden gates are unsuitable for as wooden gates will look well in most types of gardens. It is just to say that something as elegant as a wooden garden gate can look especially nice in the right surroundings.

The most important feature to enhance the beauty of wooden garden gates is healthy green grass. The effect of a wooden gate is somewhat lost if it is surrounded by concrete or paving stones and so is a lot of the enjoyment of having a garden. A garden can soon become a mere back yard if the majority of it is a hard surface and especially for children this is no fun for playing around in in the summer. It may take a bit more effort looking after a garden but the advantages of a nice lawn by far make up for this.

The fencing or the boundary of the garden that wooden gates give an entrance too can have lots of different styles and still complement the wooden gates pleasantly. A rule of thumb for any wooden fencing that is attached to a wooden gate is make sure you varnish or paint them at the same time so that the shadings are very similar if not exact. If either the gate or fence are already painted or you cannot find the exact colour or do not wish to redo both it may be best to paint one of them in a contrasting colour for a bold effect.

If the boundary to the garden is a hedge or bushes make sure they are neatly pruned as an overgrown surrounding could even disguise the wooden gate from view totally. A plastic fence would not mix well with a wooden garden gate and no matter how expensive or luxury either item was the combination will just look cheap. However a combination of iron fencing and a rich coloured wooden gate can have a lovely effect that may even out class the view of a wooden fence and gate blend.

You cannot really fail with a brick wall bordering a wooden gate but there is a right and a wrong way to go about setting this theme for your garden. The easy way would be to hinge the gate onto pre-existing fittings on the wall which would probably save you some money. Although saving money the style would be totally ruined and I would definitely recommend purchasing the matching gate posts when buying a garden gate for this purpose. It is surprising how many people forget to allow space for the gate posts when measuring the gap for a garden gate so watch out for that little pit fall too!

On reflection I would say that wooden gates look most at home surrounded by a matching wooden fence and enclosing a garden with a well kept lawn. Once you have decided on your ideal setting for your wooden gate do not forget to regularly protect it with some sort of coating so that the look stays fresh and also so the wood is preserved for as long as possible.
