What is the frequency to repel mosquitoes?
20 kHz or more? sinusoidal or square wave or other? I develop one, but I need to know frequency. Or simply use an audio signal generator is good enough? How many watts appliances Audio is needed to cover an area or 900 square feet? I've seen different answers to 25kc 15kc. A good board said one of commercials never really work well for the spider in Australia. My garden in Canada has a lot of spiders, ants, flies and mosquitoes. They never die, after a cold winter is cold. Anyone with information which is the effective range of audio frequencies to repel insects or animals different? Give me a picture if possible.

Public ultrasound small insects such as grasshoppers is 20 - 50KHz, 20 butterfly - Kansas State University Entomology Department 240KHz tried to repel mosquitoes using 20 - 100KHz 100dB success. maybe they should use 100-240 kHz, because this range repel moths. the lower the size of insects as often as reqd. small flying insects such as flies, mosquitoes have poor eye sight in the dark. are attracted to ultraviolet light. perhaps you should attract them by the fluorescent light after a high voltage static zapping.
