Slide the battery of the inflatable boat?
I have an inflatable boat, Seahawk II, with 30 pounds of thrust Minn Kota and I am trying to select the best option that provides good economic sense. I bought the boat configuration to be portable and inexpensive and has now been reduced on drums, seems around 100 + amp hour is a good thing for me. It seems that the wet cell (lead) are cheaper, I guess if I put in a battery case I will run around $ 145 and should be safe if I'm careful. AGM battery appears to offer advantages of fully closed (no acid spills in an inflatable sounds good) and if I bring it to zero load can handle the abuse better than the wet cell. However, the battery seems to be over $ 200. What details am I missing? Can someone with knowledge of the battery from the sea to give me advice for this situation?
Use a damp cell, with no real problems. You should receive a deep cycle bat or be ruined after a few uses, or to obtain a good warranty, they say its in your car (only) and change it frequently.
